The Faculty Employment Coodrinator assists with the successful recruitment of faculty. This job coordinates all aspects of faculty recruiting to ensure candidates are introduced to the organization in a professional and positive manner. This job interacts with Department/Divisional Chairs Offices, Human Resources, School of Medicine, MCVP and other Department Chair Offices and Health System Leadership.
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/A Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/A Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of five (5) years Human Resources or customer service, secretarial/administrative experience Previous experience using a personal computer and Microsoft Office applications and e-mail calendaring Experience PREFERRED: Six (6) years of previous Human Resourcesor customer service, secretarial/administrative work Previous Human Resource experience in an academic or hospital setting One (1) year of previous experience in recruitment support Education/training REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent Education/training PREFERRED: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or closely related field from an accredited program Independent action(s) required: Coordination of interview and recruitment related activities for faculty candidates who are identified and interviewed. Undertakes and completes other project work as assigned. Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): N/A Additional position requirements: Must be willing to travel between facilities as needed.
