ABM Maintenance Supervisor Job Summary
ABM is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to assist in the day to day maintenance of our contracted facilities as well as the daily oversight, scheduling, and coordination of the subcontractors being used. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are well maintained and ready for use by the client and the general public.

Duties and Expectations

• Possess scheduling flexibility due to business demands for each location.
• Start your shift on time, well rested and ready to work.
• Expect that shift/break times are flexible and may be interrupted by business or client needs.
• Must be willing to participate in on-call rotations for after hours needs
• Must be able to read, speak and write English well in order to understand and follow directions, communicate clearly with guests and complete reports.
• Compliance with all operating SOP’s.
• Plan, organize, direct and control mechanical and maintenance operations, including those related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, building management systems, and general construction projects.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of engineering/maintenance staff and vendor personnel. This includes delegating responsibilities and checking on work regularly, conducting regular meetings with staff and mentoring and counseling as appropriate.
• Direct initiatives related to contractor relations, safety, energy management and functions that promote optimal physical habitability.
• Ensure compliance with expense guidelines, company policies and procedures, governing codes and regulations and, when appropriate, third-party owner directives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Four (4) year college degree; Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering or five (5) years equivalent work experience.
• Valid Minnesota Driver’s License
• Minnesota State Chief “C” Boilers License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
