Job Summary

  • This position provides world class customer service for both end users and IT staff needing technical support and guidance in a fast-paced environment, supporting multi-site operations across the Avera footprint.
  • The primary function will be providing level 2 support for Avera's mission critical services to ensure uninterrupted flow of all data and services. This will include monitoring networks, servers and applications for issues and providing technical support including initial triaging, troubleshooting, ending resolution or escalation to the appropriate department or on-call staff.
  • During incidents they will be responsible for following response playbooks and communications procedures.
  • Responsible for advanced technical knowledge and application access as needed to resolve complex situations, and provide superior customer service.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associates degree in related area is preferred.
  • Experience with information technology operations including servers, networking and application support and monitoring required.
  • Experience using a variety of monitoring and ticket management tools is preferred.
  • Process orientated with strong attention to details and commitment to continuous improvement.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7:00am -5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $20.50 - $31.00 per hour
