Why Brookdale Overland Park?
What makes Brookdale different?
1) Our campuses are a community, NOT a facility or a "nursing home".
2) We don't have "workers" or "employees" - We have associates! The hardworking associates are offered more advancement opportunities than you can imagine! We have examples of Executive Directors starting out in activities and as servers. We take care of associates who take care of our residents!
3) We are 600+ communities strong, which allows us to offer you many opportunities in different communities.
4) We are NOT cookie-cutter communities. Each community has its own flavor and vibe.
5) Want to further your education? Brookdale has a tuition reimbursement program!
6) Don't sell yourself short - Don't work somewhere you aren't fulfilling your full potential
7) Manager on Duty every Saturday & Sunday. We believe our associates deserve support on the weekends!
8) Weekend Supervisor - Lack of weekend leadership can make for a long and chaotic weekend! Brookdale Overland Park wants to support our weekend associates!
9) Central Supply (We are stocked. We stay stocked.)
10) Late Night - Brookdale Overland Park understands it is stressful for nurses & aides to have multiple admissions, so we created “Late Night”. This person will meet with each new admission, contact their family, find out about laundry, & give details about meals, discharging, T.V., the phone system, important phone numbers, and answer questions.
