Sales and Service Representative

Sales and service representative candidates must have superb customer service skills. They must be able to develop knowledge of the local market, prospect for new business, and use consultative selling techniques.

In this role, you will:

  • Know the Product: Develop a deep understanding of our insurance products and services.
  • Identify Prospects: Use your knowledge to identify potential customers and generate leads.
  • Connect with Customers: Reach out to new and existing customers to discuss their needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Highlight Product Features: Emphasize the features of our products, demonstrating how they address customer problems.
  • Answer Questions: Be prepared to answer customer inquiries about our offerings.
  • Sell New Business: Prospect for new business through individual efforts and established lead methods.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues across different sectors to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain Relationships: Keep contact lists and follow up with customers to nurture long-term relationships.

Position Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience Option 1: At least one year of experience in a sales environment, including marketing, prospecting, cold calling, networking, preparing quotes, and delivering presentations.
  • Experience Option 2: Alternatively, two years of customer service experience.
  • License: A Property and Casualty insurance license is preferred before starting and required after beginning employment.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
