Hiring: Senior HVAC Technician / HVAC Technician

Position Summary:

The Sr. HVAC Technician performs maintenance, repairs and installation of assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems in accordance with client expectations and requests.

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in our industrial plant setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing a variety of HVAC equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and building automation systems.

Sr. HVAC Technician Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
• Must possess HVAC license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed
• Must possess EPA Universal certification credentials
• Must have refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification
• Three (3) years of HVAC experience are required
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an HVAC Journeyman is required

HVAC Technician Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record;
• Knowledge of 3 phase and gas regulators and the ability to use a volt meter;
• Possess and provide your own small/basic hand tools necessary to accomplish work effectively;
• Minimum of three (3) years trade related experience which would include installing refrigeration piping, brazing, setting display cases, condensing units, compressor racks and rooftop condensers;
• Ability to diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems including but not limited to Ice Machines, light commercial equipment; package and split HVAC systems;
• Ability to read and interpret refrigeration legends, construction drawings and equipment manuals.
• Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift objects up to fifty pounds.
• Willingness and ability to perform On-Call and emergency duties as needed to ensure service coverage;
• Successfully pass post offer pre-employment drug screen and criminal background;
• Detail-oriented and possess the ability to communicate (written and verbal) with customers, dispatch, and management effectively;
• EPA Universal Certification
