Front Office Manager

Role and responsibilities

--Guest service: Interact with customers in person and over the phone to answer inquiries, handle guest complaints, and provide positive feedback

--Staff management: Hire, train, and supervise front desk employees, including receptionists and concierge, to ensure they provide excellent customer service and enforce hotel policies. Also manage front of the house employees as an assistant to General Manager.

--Communication: Work closely with the hotel's management team and communicate effectively and review Competitors rate and assist with revenue data.

--Training new employees is the process of providing guidance, instruction, and educate your team to to take financial responsibilities of all streams of revenue including guest services rooms, reservations, food and beverage and banquet income.

--Engaging your team to interact and work with all aspects of hotel operations.

--Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

--Invest time to equip front desk with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to perform their job duties effectively and deliver an immaculate guest expierence that meets all aspect of Franchise Hotel Operations.

--Making a Fair Schedule for front desk staff

--Required to keep budget at desk for front desk hours

-- Required to work 16 hrs a week at desk which is included in overall weekly hours

--Required to manage and cover all call offs or empty shifts at desk

--Required to be involved with AR for Direct bills and etc

--Coordinate month team meetings

--Inventory and wishlist for ordering supplies

--Ordering products

--Taking proper classes for hotel

--Keeping up with IHG requirements and taking initiative on making sure staff is meeting Ihg standards

Salary will be discussed in interview

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 45 – 48 per week

Experience:

  • Hotel experience: 2 years (Required)
