The Advanced Mission Solutions (AMS) Modeling and Simulation Center of Excellence is a portfolio of projects providing missile defeat mission engineering services and data. The Program Manager for this Center of Excellence directs all phases of the portfolio of projects from inception to completion. They are responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of the portfolio of projects as well as risk and opportunity management. Duties include preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract. They report to the AMS director and acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. They are also responsible for developing new business and growing the portfolio. The Program Manager supports all employee engagement, global supply chain, safety, security, and quality activities associated with the portfolio.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 9 years of related experience or 13 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability of being granted TS/SCI.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of projects with varying priorities and requirements.
  • Experience with bringing new technology to operations.
  • Effective in team building, customer relations, and expectation management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the missile defense/defeat domain.
  • Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Understanding and experience using DevSecOps development methodologies.
  • Experience with DoD acquisition and development programs as well as Earned Value Management.
  • Experience with financial forecasting and business management.

Salary Range: $138,100 - $207,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
