Overview:
The purpose of this job is to oversee and maintain Trustmark’s positive pay customers and conduct the administrative duties of the department. Set up and maintain ChekImage and Positive Pay customers. This job will view check items for possibility of fraud. Process all month-end customer statements. This is a labor intensive position that requires constant lifting and moving of boxes.

Responsibilities:
  • Data entry into the Vital Records system for all new records, retrievals, returns etc. to maintain Trustmark’s inventory database of stored records.
  • Month-end statement rendering
  • Coordinate the retrieval and return of stored records from the basement or Vital Records for all requesting departments, including arranging for the pickup and/or delivery of records to and from Vital Records as needed. Provide customer service to internal customers.
  • Enter reconciliation rejects into online ARP/SMS system.
  • Mail out month end statements.
  • Setup and maintain ChekImage and positive pay customers.
  • Maintain the ‘Approved Record Retention Schedule’ of record types within departments, record type names by department, and retention periods by number of months.
  • Schedule and execute routine destruction of stored records according to the ‘Approved Record Retention Schedule’.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • 6 or more months of experience in a mail distribution center setting required
  • Knowledge of image systems
  • Knowledge of account reconciliation systems
  • Knowledge of mainframe computer systems
  • Knowledge SMS/Positive Pay System
  • Comprehension of sequential filing systems
  • Comprehension of maintaining an information database on the PC, including the ability to utilize data via various lookup/sort routines
  • Customer service skills
  • Filing skills
  • Basic typing and data entry
  • Decision making skills
  • Have a valid MS driver’s license, with a clean MVR
  • Have clearly definable PC skills that include spreadsheet, and data warehousing programs, working knowledge of the internet and email functionality
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Record Retention or Statement Processing experience preferred
  • Physically be able to lift boxes weighing approximately 20 to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50lbs) in/out of a van or on/off of a shelf preferred
