Overview

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Data Analysis for North American Sales Operations, the Salesforce Business Analyst will work within a small team of Salesforce experts to maximize efficiency and effectiveness for our end users, including our sales, sales support and product teams. You will work closely with Sales business functions, along with other partner groups, to analyze and translate simple-to-complex business problems and needs into solutions, ensure requirements are understood and detailed, while ensuring agreements and alignments are made with business and stakeholder partners and documenting detailed business process maps and workflows. You will interact with internal and external technical resources, such as, developers, architect’s, peer business analyst, scrum master’s, and project/program managers to ensure the delivery of key business and technical capabilities.

Your ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders to support daily operations, and strategic initiatives is critical to success in this role. Responsibilities:
  • Work with key business stakeholders to understand strategy, process, business rules, and systems represented in articulating business architecture as-is, transitional states, and to-be states through diagrams, documentation, and extensive leadership in meetings and consultations.
  • Perform requirements gathering and analysis by collaborating with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to Salesforce.
  • Develop requirement documentation, business process flow diagrams and workflows, implementation plans and identification of change adoption needs.
  • Lend support to various business and technology teams as necessary during project delivery.
  • Provide expert analytical service, requirements gathering, data gathering, system documentation, business modeling, business process as needed to solve complex issues and drive clarity and understanding.
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and system requirements that meet business requirements.
  • User stories creation and maintenance that outlines the work you need to complete to meet the overall business requirement.
  • Robust process map documentation that engages end-users and validates business requirements. Effective and detailed Process maps drive out waste, identify improvements, and form the basis of UAT and training.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and the Salesforce development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Potentially develop comprehensive functional specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through Salesforce capabilities, promoting best practices.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring high levels of user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Work with the analytics team to develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to the business.


Work Location:
This is a hybrid position in our Las Vegas, Nevada office 2+ days per week.

Requirements


Minimum Education, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis role.
  • Minimum 3-5 years using Salesforce.com and creating/administering Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated command of the Software Development Life Cycle methodology is required.
  • Demonstrated client and team leadership and attention to detail.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a focus on being clear and concise.
  • Strong business and systems analysis skills, test planning and testing skills, problem-solving skills, and experience with technical environments and architectures.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Experience and related components.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange and third-party applications.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure thorough testing and validation of solutions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with Salesforce platform updates and trends.
  • Proficiency with agile methodology and sprint work.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $76,179-$180,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.


Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
