Performs a variety of duties to ensure the sourcing, selection and hiring of professional and managerial staff. Promotes career opportunities within the organization. Works independently in performing work, with measurement by process and results.

What you will do:

  • Sources, screens, interviews, qualifies and selects candidates for the hiring managers. Matches qualifications to job descriptions. Considers current projects, cultural fit, job requirements, and financial aspects. Narrows field of candidates to best match, working with the hiring manager.
  • Coordinates candidate comparison and selection process, ensuring a collaborative approach within the culture, current need, anticipated need, Strategic Plan, and growth strategies.
  • Integrates internal applicants into recruiting processes, establishes and oversees Employee Referral and Internal Job Posting programs.
  • Ensures the integrity and marketing of the AAA Northeast employment brand. Includes organizing job fairs and open houses to attract appropriate candidates and establish talent pools.
  • Investigates sources of candidates, establishes relationships and implement programs to maintain contact, screen candidates and maintain a flow of candidates for current and anticipated openings.
  • Organizes recruiting events at local universities to establish the recruiting brand, and market presence, and attract potential candidates.
  • Ensures that the recruiting policy and process are followed by all participants.
  • Assists in developing staffing processes and procedures.

Education
University degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or related field Required Specialized coursework and training in Human Resources programs Required

Experience

3 to 5 years experience recruiting successful professional and managerial staff in the local markets Required Prior knowledge and experience with human resources principles, practices and legal requirements is Required
