Overview

IGT digitizes the lottery retail experience through its Connected Play capabilities, enabling seamless digital interaction across Lottery retail and digital environments. This integration allows lotteries to gain deeper insights into player behavior and preferences, facilitating the creation of more personalized experiences and encouraging player engagement.

As Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for the Connected Play product category within our Lottery solution, leading and shaping the overall product strategy and roadmap for Lottery convenience app and portal, mobile claims, second chance promotions, and player account management, with a strong emphasis on providing a consistent, outstanding user experience. Reports to the VP of Lottery Product Management.

Location

Providence/West Greenwich RI and Austin TX. US-based remote candidates will be considered as well.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for the assigned product portfolio. Lead the conceptualization, development, and launch of innovative product features that improve user engagement and satisfaction.

Team Management: Oversee, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, product owners, and UI/UX designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

Product Roadmap Oversight: Lead the product roadmap, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure that all product initiatives support the organization's strategic goals. Guide the entire product lifecycle from conception through launch and into its ongoing operation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a senior leader, driving Connected Play initiatives across the company. Partner with the Technology team to craft the overall solution approach and ensure that all software development aligns with agreed-upon scope, schedule, and budget.

Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure the assigned products have a competitive position in the Lottery market.

UI/UX Focus: Prioritize and ensure outstanding UI/UX design throughout the product lifecycle. Leverage user-centric design approaches, incorporate continuous UX health monitoring, and integrate usability testing and behavioral analytics to drive continual improvement of the user experience.

Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies, leading all aspects of product launches to ensure they meet user adoption and satisfaction goals.

Sales Support: Participate in trade shows, demos, customer meetings, and conferences to evangelize products. Take part in the creation and evolution of sales and marketing collateral and business proposals.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, the ability to translate market requirements into a product vision, and work side by side with engineering to realize that vision
  • 10+ years of product management experience in a digital field
  • Responsible for a product or solution from introduction through launch and into maturity
  • Proven track record of building and leading successful product management teams
  • Excellent project planning, prioritization, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience effectively influencing stakeholders and driving resolutions
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation abilities
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $117,880 - $240,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
