Shift Starts at 5am daily.

We are looking for a Responsible, friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team to work 3 to 4 days a week. The Breakfast Attendant's responsibilities include arriving to work on time, setting up and clearing the meal service, ensuring that the buffet remains fully stocked at all times, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Making guests feel at home and asking how the guest experience is going. You should also be able to address customers' queries and complaints.

• Reports To: Assistant General Manager & GM

Essential Functions:

• Prepares foods such as eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, waffle batter, gravy, etc.
• Stocks coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers.
• Sets out and arranges food, such as sweet rolls, muffins, and cereal for self-service.
• Clears and cleans tables as they are
• Wipes up spills.
• Removes trash.
• Attentive to guest needs, especially during breakfast hours.
• Washes serving equipment and returns to storage.
• Maintains all cooking equipment using regular, proper cleaning procedures.
• Notifies management of any concern, breakage, leakage, non-operable status of any cleaning or cooking equipment.
• Returns reusable food supplies to storage with proper dates on product.
• Restocks self-service food and supplies as needed.
• Follows city, county, and/or state guidelines on food prep, storage, sanitation, and other items the inspector gives to the hotel.
• Takes inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.
• Submits orders to General Manager or Assistant General Manager.

Qualifications: * Prior customer service experience preferred.

• Prior food industry experience preferred.
• ServSafe food handler certification preferred.
• Ability to work long hours if needed.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to multi task.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Breakfast Attendant Requirements:

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a similar role.
• Sound knowledge of food safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional Customer Service.
• Attentive to detail.
• Friendly -driven disposition.
• Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 29 per week
